Simpsonwood Retreat Property Sale Meeting Monday, 7:30 p.m.
The UPCCA-hosted meeting includes guest speaker David Haddow, the broker hired by the North Georgia Methodist Conference to market the 227-acre property by the Chattahoochee River.
An informational meeting on the proposed sale of the 227-acre Simpsonwood Retreat Center property is slated for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
The meeting is hosted by the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association (UPCCA) with David Haddow as guest speaker. Haddow who is the owner/partner of Haddow and Associates, the company hired to market the property.
Haddow represents the North Georgia Methodist Conference and will provide background and updated information regarding the property.
The meeting includes a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Christ the King Lutheran Church is located at 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092
Last August a Gwinnett Superior Court judge ruled that the property which had been given to the North Georgia Methodist Conference as a gift in the 1970s, no longer had to honor the terms of the deed. The church has since contacted the brokerage firm of Haddow and Associates to market the land.
