November is here. The real estate question at this time of year is, “Should I list now or should I wait?"
The answer is, “A good home, priced right sells any time of the year.” So the quandary becomes when will I get the best price for my home.
The answer is when inventory is down, and demand is up you will be in a position to get the very best price. One of the best reasons to list during holidays is inventory will nearly always be low.
The buyers who look during this time are real buyers. They are in a position where they need to buy and they are serious. They are not dreaming. Dreamers sometimes wait till Spring to look for a home. As we keep this in mind, let’s see where the market is as of Nov 1, 2013.
There are 79 homes currently on the market in the City of Peachtree Corners. This inventory is the lowest it has been in 2013. The inventory range has been 90 to 100 homes for the past year.
We have 40 homes presently under contract and they will be closing in the next couple of months. There have been 322 homes sold in Peachtree Corners year-to-date. In the same period in 2012, 258 homes were sold.
