Back to School? Already? Where Did Summer Go?

August 6: That's the date for Gwinnett County Puiblic School students to head back to class.

When many of us were in grade school, Labor day was the traditional day for students to return to the classroom.

But for the majority of Peachtree Corners students, their days of care-free summer fun are nearly over.

The 2012-2013 school year for students attending Gwinnett County Public Schools begins Monday, August 6, 2012. Wesleyan School students hit the books on August 15.

For some parents it seems summer vacations get shorter each year. But for others (perhaps harried parents running out of entertainment options), it can't come too soon.
