Local Groups Collecting School Supplies for the Needy
Several Gwinnett County-based organizations are asking for school supplies to give out to families in need.
With back-to-school activities kicking into high gear, there is a call on Gwinnett County residents who can afford it to help those in the community in need. Several agencies are asking for donations of the following school supplies.
- Wide-ruled notebook paper
- Composition books
- Three-ring binders
- Glue Sticks
- Pencils
- Graph paper
- Rulers
- Crayons
- Markers
- Erasers
- Dry erase markers
- Highlighters
- Pens
- Scissors
- Colored pens and markers
- Calculators
- Index cards
- Book bags
- Lunch boxes
- Pocket folders
The following agencies in the county are collecting these supplies and can be contacted to donate items. All are actively involved in meeting the needs of less fortunate families in Gwinnett:
