"The Best Beginning Photography Class in Georgia"

If you are one of those people who have purchased an expensive digital camera and don’t understand how to use it or considering photography as a career, this is a must class for you.  This is a crash course.  You will learn more in three hours than in some three-week classes. Students will master composition and how to use the 'exposure triangle': shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Students will also learn the art of story telling to help them make great pictures in difficult situations. All students will receive a notebook filled with examples and information to help them in their quest to become a complete photographer. Atlanta Journal Constitution photographer Johnny Crawford teaches the class. He has been at the AJC for 26 years and has taught photography at The University of Georgia, Clark Atlanta University, and Grady High School. He is currently the beat photographer for Georgia Tech football and NASCAR.  He photographed the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China and most of the major events in the Atlanta area for the last 26 years.
