Face to face and online sessions are available. Registration is under way.

Dates are now set for summer learning opportunities in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) for high schoolers. Students may take courses to earn credits to get ahead or to make up classes previously taken.

Below is a guide to the 2012 summer learning opportunities, via a GCPS news release:

High School Face-to-Face: June 12-July 11 (M-Th with a July 4 holiday): The 2012 face-to-face summer school session for high school students will take place at Mountain View High, in Suwanee, and South Gwinnett High. Registration for face-to-face summer school, which takes place in a traditional classroom setting, is open until June 4. Students may register online by visiting www.mypaymentsplus.com or in person by visiting Peachtree Ridge High on Thursday, May 31.

High School Online: June 11-July 10 (M-Th with a July 4 holiday): High school students also may take summer classes online through the Gwinnett County Online Campus. Registration is ongoing until June 4. Students may register by visiting www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com. When taking classes through the Gwinnett County Online Campus, students take final exams in a face-to-face setting.
