Gov. Deal to Throw First Pitch at NHS Game

Georgia's governor will be at the baseball game Monday night against Duluth High.

Gov. Nathan Deal better be working on his windup and stretch.

This Monday evening at , the Georgia governor is scheduled to throw the first pitch at the Blue Devils' baseball game.

The pitch is in recognition of Chris Raasch, Norcross’ scholar athlete baseball player, according to a press release.

Raasch made a verbal agreement last fall that he would go to Vanderbilt after he graduates this spring, as reported by the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The team's website says other state and county officials are expected to be at the game and will be sitting behind home plate.

The Blue Devils will be playing at 6 p.m. at Norcross High School, located at 5300 Spalding Drive.
