The Gwinnett County Public School district’s charter schools and a special technical education program have scheduled information sessions and registration dates as they prepare for the 2014–15 school year.
Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC), GCPS' diploma-granting, virtual charter school, is hosting an Informational Meeting at the school's campus on Jan. 23, Feb. 10 and Feb. 27 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. for students in grades 4-12 interested in attending. Webinar Sessions will also be available Jan. 28 and Feb. 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Registration for full-time students will be open from Feb. 1 - Feb. 28, 2014.
Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology (GSMST), is the district's STEM-focused charter high school. The registration deadline is Jan. 31, 2014. The school will hold a public lottery in February if more registrations are received than available seats.
Maxwell High School of Technology has scheduled an open house for Feb. 13, 2014, registration runs through Feb. 28. Maxwell is GCPS' technical career-focused charter high school. Students attend classes at both maxwell and their local GCPS campus.
Grayson High Technical Education Program is a career-focused special program housed at Grayson High. Registration for 2014-15 is ongoing. an Open House is scheduled for Jan. 23 from 6 - 8 p.m.
