Gwinnett County School Evacuated

Students at Grace Snell Middle School in Loganville have returned to their classrooms after school had been evacuated due to a threat that was called in just before 9 a.m.

According to Gwinnett County Public School director of Media Relations Jorge Quintana, in Loganville was evacuated just before 9 a.m. this morning but an "all clear" was called just after 10 a.m. and students have returned to class.

In an earlier report Quintana said, "Grace Snell MS is currently evacuating as a precaution due to a threat that was called into the school. All students are safe and nothing has occurred at the school. The school has evacuated just as a precaution. Emergency personnel have responded and will check out the building prior to returning students to class."

Quintanta said as the school had been evacuated to check out the called-in threat. Students are now back in class.
