Mercer University Graduates 14 Local Students

Thirteen students from Peachtree Corners and one from Berkeley Lake received their diplomas at the spring ceremonies.

The following area residents graduated from Mercer University at the Mercer's spring commencement on Atlanta Campus. It was the first campus-wide outdoor commencement held at the Cecil B. Day Graduate and Professional Campus.

Terry J. Hancharik of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in early childhood education from the Tift College of Education.

Krystal N. Kelly of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in early childhood education from the Tift College of Education.

Courtney K. Hatten of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in early childhood education from the Tift College of Education.

Corrine Horton-Williams of Peachtree Corners, earned a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership from the Tift College of Education.

Kara Warren of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Business Administration in international business from the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics.

Howard V. Follert, II of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in middle grades education from the Tift College of Education.

Jenelle P. Kegler of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in middle grades education from the Tift College of Education.

Yolandria Y. Clayton of Peachtree Corners, earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in organization leadership from the College of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Sarah N. Wade of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in secondary education from the Tift College of Education.

Lisa R. Aspinwall of Peachtree Corners, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in secondary education from the Tift College of Education.

Charon C. Chase of Berkeley Lake, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in early childhood education from the Tift College of Education.

In all, the University held four ceremonies in the spring in Macon and Atlanta and conferred more than 1,700 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

The ceremony included more than 6,000 attendees, and more than 1,000 participants from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, the James and Carolyn McAfee School of Theology, the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics, Tift College of Education and College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
