Pinckneyville Middle School Student Honored

Griffin Evans was recognized at the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club on Monday.

Peachtree Corners Rotary Club Student of the Month. Each week the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognizes a student from the Norcross cluster. They rotate the schools so each school has a chance to nominate their Student of the Month.  This past week the student was from Pinckneyville Middle School.

Student of the Month Proclamation:

WHEREAS Pinckneyville Middle School student Griffin Evans has been nominated by his teachers as being an exceptional student, who is conscientious, kind and considerate.  Among capable, talented students, Griffin excels.  Griffin always gives his best to his schoolwork, even though he is involved in many other activities such as Future Problem Solvers, band (a trumpet player), travel baseball, basketball and tennis.  Griffin also participates in community service through Perimeter Church.

Griffin embodies the IBMYP characteristic of “principled” because he always does what is right even when no one is looking. Griffin is a great model of what good citizenship is, and he will be a positive leader in his future endeavors.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Robert Mann, do hereby proclaim Griffin Evans as a Peachtree Corners Rotary Club Student of the Month.

The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club meet each Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the Carlyle House in Norcross, visit the club's website for additional information.
