Simpson Elementary Student Honored at Rotary Club Luncheon

Brooke Weaver, a fifth grade student, was recognized as the student of the month during the club's weekly meeting.

Each week the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognizes a student from the Norcross cluster. They rotate the schools so each school has a chance to nominate its Student of the Month.  This past week the student was from Simpson Elementary School.

Student of the Month Proclamation:

Simpson Elementary is proud to recognize Brooke Weaver from Mrs. Campbell’s fifth grade class as our Rotary Student of the Month.

Brooke is an excellent student and we are very proud of the exceptional learner and leader she has become during her years here at Simpson.  As a learner, she accepts every challenge given to her by her teachers.

Brooke is highly motivated to push herself further than any expectations.  Whatever the task, Brooke strives to be her very best.  She shows an enthusiasm for learning and works hard each and every day.

This year, Brooke has exemplified stellar leadership and hard work.  She shows this dedication by setting the behavioral and academic example for her fellow classmates.  Brooke also truly understands the meaning of lending a helping hand.  Her spirit of cooperation is reflected through a willingness to always help her classmates. Brooke was elected as a Student Council representative by her classmates, and was elected President of Student Council by her peers.

Brooke has many interests.  She enjoys playing sports such as soccer and softball, reading, spending time with her family, and creating PowerPoint presentations with her mom.  She also loves to read and visit her family in Florida.

We are honored that Brooke Weaver is the Rotary’s Student of the Month.  She is an outstanding young lady who reflects Simpson Elementary’s Superstar Norms and Standards of Leadership.

The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club meet each Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the Carlyle House in Norcross, visit the club's website for additional information.
