Rotary Club Honors Pinckneyville Middle School Student
Joshua Maxson was recognized recently as the club's Student of the Month.
At its weekly meeting on Monday,Dec. 3, the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognized Joshua Maxson, who attends Pinckneyville Middle School, as its student of the month.
A proclamation was presented which pronouced:
WHEREAS Pinckneyville Middle School student Joshua Maxson has been nominated by his teachers as being an outstanding straight A student; the kind of student everyone loves because he enjoys learning.

He is respectful, courteous, and hard-working. Joshua always gives his best to his schoolwork even though he is involved in many other activities.
Joshua is very talented musically playing the trombone in Pinckneyville’s advanced band. He also plays the guitar and piano. When he has spare time, he enjoys playing video games and reading. Joshua, along with his sister, Anna, understands the importance of giving back to the community by assisting the elderly whenever they can.

Joshua embodies the IBMYP characteristic of “principled” because he always does what is right even when no one is looking. Joshua is a great model of what good citizenship is, and he will be a positive leader in his future endeavors.
