Simpson Elementary School Student Honored

Evan Macrenaris.was recognized at the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club on Monday.

At its weekly meeting on Monday, Feb. 6, the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognized Evan Macrenaris, a student from Mrs. Danner’s third grade class as its Student of the Month.

A proclamation was presented to the second-grader which pronouced:

Evan has attended Simpson Elementary since kindergarten, and we are very proud of the exceptional learner and leader he has become in such a short amount of time. As a learner, he accepts every challenge given to him by his teachers. He is extremely creative and shows an enthusiasm for learning. He works hard to do his best each and every day.

This year, Evan has exemplified stellar leadership. He shows what it means to be a friend by consistently showing respect towards all of his classmates. He believes that a true friend should be kind and honest at all times.  Evan also truly understands the meaning of lending a helping hand. His spirit of cooperation is reflected through a willingness to always help his classmates with a positive attitude.

Evan has many interests. He enjoys drawing, riding his bicycle, and playing with his two red-eared slider turtles and his guinea pig, Webster. He also plays tennis and soccer. He loves going outside to look for turtles, lizards, and frogs. When he grows up, he aspires to be a photographer. He would also like to break the speed record on water.  His family is really important to him, and they have taught him how to be a leader in life.

We are honored that Evan Macrenaris is the Rotary’s Student of the Month.  He is an outstanding young man who reflects Simpson Elementary’s Superstar Norms and Standards of Leadership.
