Wesleyan JV Boys Win 1-0 Over Providence Christian

The Wesleyan JV Boys Soccer Team prevaiedl in their their second win of the season on Thursday.

The Wesleyan JV Boys Soccer Team earned their second win of the season by defeating Providence Christian Academy by the score of 1-0 on the Stars' home field Thursday afternoon.

Both teams played a very physical game, but the Wolves were able to
create more chances to score.  With 4:51 to go in the first half, the Wolves
broke through when forward Paul Hogan fired a shot that was blocked by the PCA
goalkeeper.  However, Hogan followed his shot and blasted the rebound into the
net to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead.

The Wolves were able to possess the ball most of the match and out played
Providence Christian. Wesleyan also came up big on the defensive end, including
some key saves by goalkeeper Carter Flachbarth.

The Wesleyan JV Boys (2-6-1) return to the pitch Friday when they host
Paideia.  Kick off is set for 4:30 p.m.
