My Recommendations For Tomorrow

My "endorsements" in tomorrow's election.

I'll keep this short and sweet since I don't like telling people who to vote for and if most voters really took my opinions that seriously, I'd still be on the ballot tomorrow instead of writing about it. However, having had the chance to get to know the issues and the candidates over the last several months, there are three that I have decided to come out and publicly support tomorrow for a variety of reasons.

In District 3, I am backing David Proud. David has been someone I've come to know and like during the campaign and I really enjoy his honesty and humility. He has professed support for many of my ideas and is someone that comes from outside the same political area that many of the other candidates do so he'll be a truly independent voice on the council, which is something that is sorely needed.

In District 4, I am backing Robert Byars. I believe Robert is a great, honest voice for the future of Peachtree Corners. He also spends much of his time outside the regular political circles and is a great choice to represent the entire city of Peachtree Corners, not just the limited voices of the few people that will show up at the polls tomorrow and will likely dominate the council. He is someone that will listen to everyone's ideas and fight for them, rather than push his own views to improve his own lot.

In District 5, I am backing Gray Terry. I got to know Gray very well during the campaign. He is as nice of a guy as they come and his business and legal knowledge is a perfect fit on what our council needs as it gets started. Gray has done Β  with this and for this city and is someone that would be a great asset to our local government as it gets going.

So there is my views on who I will be supporting tomorrow. However I am just one vote. Whether you agree or disagree with me, I highly encourage you to vote tomorrow and make sure your voice is heard.
