Questions Answered I Was Never Asked

Starting next Wednesday (assuming I can get the list of debate questions by then), I will be answering, in detail, one question a day that was asked at one of the candidate forums.

Its hard to go last. I have attended the two candidate forums so far and I must say I am chomping at the bit to answer the questions posed to the other candidates.

I have sat there, formulated my responses, and done my research. However, with candidates only getting maybe five questions a piece, with 60 seconds to answer, I worry that there is very little information that I will be able to get across when some of these issues are quite detailed.

That is why I am starting this new entry series called Questions Answered I Was Never Asked. Starting next Wednesday (assuming I can get the list of debate questions by then) I will be answering one question a day from one of the candidate forums. This will let you know my position on all the issues that the candidates have been asked so you can be well-informed in making your decision on my candidacy.

I hope you will attend my candidate forum on Monday, February 6, where I can actually answer the questions I am asked but I feel this is a good way to get you some information in the interim and after.

If you are dying to get my views on some issues and can't wait until Monday (and I know you are chomping at the bit to hear me pontificate on local politics), I am hosting a teletownhall tonight on Code Enforcement and zoning. This is a great way to ask me questions on a complex issue, let me know what you are looking for, and hear my responses to what are very complex issues in more than soundbite form.

You can register at http://choosescott.com/contact, provide your information, check the TeleTownhall option, and instructions will be given to you. You can also register by emailing me at scott@choosescott.com or by just calling in (+1-408-600-3600 Access code: 660 682 699) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1.

Please note that if you call in without registering online, you will be able to hear the teleconference but you will not be able to ask questions. Also note that I plan on doing at least one of these a week up until the election, and I hope to have some other candidates (including hopefully my election opponents) join me in these at some point so we can respond to your questions, comments and issues with more than 60 second snippets.

If the political forum, teletownhalls, and blogging isn't enough to give you your fill on Scott Ehrlich's positions on local politics, email me at scott@choosescott.com, contact me at my facebook page, or post your questions on one of my posts and I'll try to answer it as best as I can. When I say constituent communication is a priority of mine, I really do mean it.

Scott Ehrlich

Candidate, Peachtree Corners City Council
