Blue Devils Win Coin Toss in 7-AAAAAA Playoff Matchups

Norcross gets the No. 1 seed, Collins Hill and North Gwinnett are 2-3, respectively. Postseason play begins next Friday.

After 10 weeks of regular season play, it took a coin toss Friday night to determine playoff seedings for the three top Region 7-AAAAAA teams.

Norcross gets the No. 1 seed, and Collins Hill and North Gwinnett are 2-3, respectively.

Since each team went 7-1 in the regular season and 1-1 against the others, the teams' head coaches met late Friday in Suwanee for a coin toss. Norcross called tails, and odd man out wins, according to ajc.com.

Collins Hill got the No. 2 spot by virtue of its win over North in the regular season.

So the first round playoff matchups next Friday (Nov. 15)Β are: Norcross hosts Etowah; Collins Hill hosts Walton, and North travels to Milton.

Peachtree Ridge, the No. 4 seed, travels to Lassiter.

The GHSA playoff bracket is here.
