ESPN to Air Norcross High Football Game
The game will be Aug. 24 against Florida team Booker T. Washington High, and airs on television as part of the ESPN High School Football Kickoff series.
Norcross High is one 26 teams that will participate in the ESPN High School Football Kickoff series, which airs Aug. 23-25.
The Norcross High game is Aug. 24, and the Blue Devils will play the Booker T. Washington High out of Florida. The dueling teams are both state champions.
The game takes place 7 p.m. at Norcross High. It is one of only four that will televised by ESPN. Other teams will air on sister channels ESPNEWS, ESPNU and ESPN2.
One other Gwinnett County team's game also will be carried by ESPN. That's South Gwinnett High, which plays against Florida team Lincoln High School on Aug. 24.
This is the first year that Georgia teams have participated in the ESPN Kickoff series.
