Former Norcross High Star Among 3 Football Players Dismissed by Georgia Tech

Anthony Autry and two others violated code of conduct, the school said.

Georgia Tech announced it has dismissed three players from its football program, including a former Norcross High School star.

According to a news release, wide receiver Anthony Autry, defensive lineman, Darius Commissiong, and defensive end Travin Henry were dismissed β€œdue to violations of the Athletic Association's student-athlete code of conduct.”

Autry, a redshirt sophomore, was a star player at Norcross High School. Commissiong is from Maryland; Henry is from Adel, Ga.

Autry’s younger brother Myles Autry signed with the Yellow Jackets in February, but told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he might be re-considering.

Tech also said it is suspending defensive back Lynn Griffin of Jacksonville, Fla., for violating the code of conduct.

The program did not release specifics on what the players had done.
