Georgia Force Plans Tryouts in Gwinnett
Arena League football team seeking talented players to add to 2012 roster.
The Georgia Force recently completed its Arena Football League season in Gwinnett, and it already is making plans for 2012.
The team will hold tryouts on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Silverbacks Park in Suwanee, according to a media release.
The tryouts will consist of a 40-yard dash, short shuttle, individual
drills, and one-on-ones. Those who preregister by Wednesday, September 21 at 5:00 p.m. will pay a $70 registration fee, while those who sign up after will pay $80. Prospective attendees can download the registration form by visiting www.GeorgiaForce.com.

“We had great success in 2011 with our open tryouts,” said Force head coach Dean Cokinos, “Georgia is a talent-rich region and we are
searching for some quality players who can contribute to our
organization.”
Shoulder pads will not be necessary, though participants
are advised to bring workout clothes and appropriate shoes. Those
looking to register are advised to send any game film or bio
information to playerpersonnel@georgiaforce.com for review prior to
tryouts.

One such tryout was held last spring in Sugar Hill.
Silverbacks Park is located at 4285 Brogdon Exchange NE in Suwanee.
