Gwinnett Braves Back in First-Place Tie

Another offensive outburst beats Indianapolis.

The Gwinnett Braves got double-digit run output again and got strong pitching from Mike Minor as they cruised to a 12-3 victory over Indianapolis at Coolray Field on Monday.

Matt Young had four RBIs and Wilkin Ramirez had five hits to lead the G-Braves' outburst. Gwinnett is now tied for first with Durham in the International League South, and leads the wild-card race by a half-game.

Minor (4-5), who has spent some time with the Atlanta Braves this year, went six innings, striking out eight and allowing two runs.
