Prado Leads Gwinnett Braves To Win

Double-header and Asian Heritage Day set for Saturday.

Martin Prado, on a rehab stint from Atlanta, had two hits and an RBI on Friday as the Gwinnett Braves cruised past the Charlotte Knights 6-3 at Coolray Field. With a late loss by Durham, the G-Braves now are tied for first in the International League South.

Stefan Gartrell had a two-run double for Gwinnett in the fifth to break the game open. Erik Cordier (3-5) went six innings to get the win.

The G-Braves play a double-header against Charlotte on Saturday at Coolray Field, beginning at 6:05 p.m. Also, it will be Asian Heritage DayΒ at the Lawrenceville park.
