Watch World Class Tennis Right in Your Own Backyard

Tickets still available for Atlanta Tennis Championships weekday and weekend matches held at Peachtree Corners' RCS.

Peachtree Corners residents have the luck of the draw this year -- the Atlanta Tennis Championships are being played practically in their backyards.

The ATP Tour selected the Racquet Club of the South as this year's venue for a number of the world's best tennis stars. The Atlanta Tennis Championships is the first in an eight-tournament series leading up to the US Open. This year's prize money is $531,000.

And for those who have procrastinated, there's good news, individual and ticket packages are still available.

The Atlanta Tennis Championships includes not only great tennis competion to watch but a week long list of fan activities.

Tuesday is ALTA Night: Gates open at 3 p.m. and all ALTA members receive up to 10 percent on tickets for the day.

Wednesday is Run N Roll Wheelchair: Tennis Clinic & Exhibition hosted by top-ranked wheelchair players from around the country. The event is from 2 - 3 p.m.

Wednesday is also USTA Member Appreciation Day & Reception: From 3 - 4:30 p.m. complimentary refreshments served, gifts, a raffle for prizes and a visit from an ATP Tour player. A valid USTA Membership ID card needed for entry.

Thursday is a Special Populations Return N Serve Exhibition from 3- 4 p.m. On-court exhibitions of tennis match play for children and adults with special needs.

Thursday is also USO Military Appreciation Night. The USTA will honor service personnel by providing 100 tickets to be distributed by local military organizations.

Friday is USTA League Day. Fans will be distributed to the first 500 fans.

Saturday is Corona Night featuring gate give-aways

And everyday ATP Tour players will be signing autographs at the USTA Tent.
