Welcome Signs for 93rd PGA Championship Now In Place

Sixty banners line route for spectators to Atlanta Athletic Club.

Some 60 banners announcing the 93rd PGA Championship will greet drivers traveling into Johns Creek on State Bridge and Medlock Bridge roads. For Peachtree Corners residents the tournament is practically in their backyards.

The 5-foot vinyl flags, paid for by the Johns Creek Convention and Vistors Bureau, made their debut Thursday (July 14).

The signs are located on State Bridge Road east of Medlock Bridge Road (SR141) to the Chattahoochee River and on Medlock from the river to Bell Road. They are strategically placed along the route that PGA spectators will be traveling on shuttle buses from the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth to theΒ , the site of the championship Aug. 8-14.
