Each week through the high school season, Patch will share our predictions on local football games — and ask for yours. Think you’ve got what it takes to pick a winner?

Let’s get it on.

Wesleyan at Seminole County: After Seminole County traveled four hours to get a 38-20 beating last year at Wesleyan, the Wolves make the trip this year hoping there won’t be a similar fate for the visiting team. This shouldn’t be a lopsided victory for the home team, but this isn’t the same experienced Wesleyan team that took the field in 2011. Despite several key graduation losses, however, Wesleyan has established itself as a premier Class A football program. That gives the Wolves the benefit of the doubt in this one. Wesleyan 28, Seminole County 27.

Note: Norcross, which defeated Dacula last Friday, is idle this week.
