No Pain, But Lots of Gain!

Water aerobics makes a big splash at the YMCA for baby boomers and seniors.

 

At , baby boomers and seniors are flocking to the pool to jog, do jumping jacks and more in the water with their friends.  

Mixing pleasure and exercise, there are many benefits to water aerobics.  When you are in the pool, the water acts to keep you buoyant, reducing stress to your muscles and joints.

This minimizes the chance of strain or injury while you are in the pool.  Regardless of age, weight or physical limitations, the water makes you more buoyant, therefore you no longer have to carry your weight during your water aerobics exercises.

Plus, who doesn’t like splashing in the water!  So pull on that swimsuit join us in a water aerobics class at the Y!
