"The 5K (3.1 miles) route runs through the community up Crooked Creek, through Cedar Corners," said race organizer Anthony Rockecharlie, of Spincycle Sports. "Runners in the 10K (6.2 miles) will run Jay Bird Alley, cut through Peachtree Station and onto to Data Drive."
Rockecharlie said the proceeds from the race will go to beautification projects for the city.
"We've got close to 400 runners who have signed up and are expecting close to 1,000," said Rockecharlie. "The last week before the race will be a mad rush."
