Beautiful Feline Sisters Looking for Quiet Home

Quiet and a little shy, Gracie and Ginger would make great companions.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is looking for a great home for two lovely sisters named Gracie and Ginger. These cats came to the organization when their previous owner fell on hard times and he was no longer able to keep them.

They are now living at the group’s cat adoption center at the Johns Creek PETCO located at 10980 State Bridge Road. (Rex, their brother, was also available but has been adopted by PATCH photographer Ortenzio Mastroianni!)

In terms of their personalities, “brave” may never be a word that will describe Gracie, but sweet sure is!!  She is shy when she first meets someone, but when she trusts you, she will be your best friend and little shadow.  She LOVES to have her neck scratched and you can almost always win her over that way.  She will cuddle and purr like crazy as long as you just keep scratching her.

Ginger was also initially a little scared and unsure of her new temporary homes.  However, she is coming out of her shell and proving to be a sweet, sweet girl.  She loves treats and will come to investigate if you have one in hand. She enjoys receiving affection and particularly likes to have her head and ears scratched…and when she’s decided to trust you…even likes to have her belly scratched!

Gracie and Ginger’s part-time foster mom says that once they get past their initial shyness they are actually real cuddle bugs. She also says that they do extremely well with her other cats.

They do seem to be cautious with dogs, but would probably accept a well-behaved canine companion. Because they are a bit on the timid side, they would be best suited for a quiet home, and one without small children.

If possible, the Angels volunteers would like these beautiful girls to be adopted by the same person or family. They have been together since birth and it would very comforting for them to have someone familiar with them in their new home.

Like all of Angels' rescued cats, these cats are altered and are up-to-date on vaccinations, have been tested for feline leukemia, feline AIDS and heartworm disease, have been provided parasite control treatment, and are microchipped. They are very tidy cats and are good about using a litter box.
