Beautiful Russian-Blue Mix Looking for a Home

Lovely cat's family moved...and left her behind.

Lovely Emmie couldn't believe it when her family packed up and moved away...leaving her behind to fend by herself.

This beautiful green-eyed Russian Blue mix (who is about 4 years old) was left to fend for herself before one of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue volunteers realized that she had been abandoned, and asked us to take her into our adoption program.

Those of us who have met Emmie are baffled at how anyone could have treated this super nice cat so cruelly. Although still a little scared in her new home at our PETCO adoption center (So much activity and so many other cats and dogs going by.), we have already discovered how lovable and affectionate she is.

This is clearly a cat who is used to being a household pet and behaves accordingly. She loves being with people, likes to simply "hang out" with our volunteers and has all the makings of a lap cat.

We don't yet know how Emmie will do with another cat in the household, or with dogs, but we will provide an update as soon as we have a little more experience with her likes and dislikes. In the meantime, we hope that someone will see this beautiful cat with the emerald green eyes and decide that THIS time she has found a forever home. Are you that lucky person or family?

This cat currently resides at Angels' Cat Adoption Center at the Johns Creek PETCO (10980 State Bridge Road).

Like all of Angels' rescued cats, she is spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia, feline AIDS, and heartworm disease, has been provided parasite control treatment, and is microchipped. She is a tidy cat and good about using her litter box.
