Bernie Left Behind When Family Moved

Sweet feline now looking for a new family to love.

Bernie was abandoned when his owners moved out of their apartment, and we retrieved him prior to his being picked up by Animal Control.

He is what we sometimes call a "Tabico," and his brown tabby markings are mixed with beautiful white colors. He has a quirky little spot on his face which we think adds great character!

He is a rather athletic cat, and men tend to especially like him. Bernie is now in a foster home, and has come a long way since he came into our program! His foster mom says he's a really great cat, is loaded with personality, and that whoever adopts him will be crazy about him.

He is usually extremely affectionate and likes attention, but every once and a while gets a tad crabby. He does well with certain cats, but can be bossy with others. He does like to be the center of attention when people are around.

We actually think he'd be happier as the only cat with no other competition for affection from his humans. (Lately, he has been acting rather sad since several foster kittens joined the household.)

Bernie is a very special boy, and is a terrifically loving pet. Are you that special person or persons who will give this wonderful guy a second chance?   Bernie  currently resides in an Angels foster home, but can easily be made available for a "meet and greet" for qualified adopters.

Like all of Angels' rescued cats, he is neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia, feline AIDS, and heartworm disease, has been provided parasite control treatment, and is microchipped.

Bernie is a tidy cat and good about using his litter box. For more information on this cats and/or to request an adoption application, contact me at 404-414-1282 or by email at deb@angelsrescue.org. Most of Angels' adoptable cats (and dogs) can be found at www.angelsrescue.org
