Lovely Cat is Once Again Homeless

Fiona, a Persian mix is a sweet-natured cat looking for new family to adopt her.

Beautiful Fiona has had so many awful things happen in her life. First, she was dropped off at a county animal shelter when she was a kitten.

She thought her life had taken a turn for the better when she was adopted by a nice family. Sadly, the youngest daughter developed severe allergies and a new situation for Fiona was needed.

As a result, Angels took Fiona into our adoption program when she was about two years old. She was adopted out, and then the new owner realized that SHE had bad allergies and Fiona was returned again.

We then found her a wonderful home with a single lady who absolutely adored this sweet cat. Tragically, we have just been contacted by Fiona's new owner who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and only has a short time to live.

We have encouraged her to keep Fiona with her as long as this nice cat can provide her with companionship and comfort. We also told her that we will take Fiona back into our program at the appropriate time.

Because we are expecting this sad time to be over fairly soon, we are reaching out now to (hopefully) have another good home lined up for Fiona.

Fiona is a small cat with luxuriously long and thick hair the color of a bright orange sunset blended with white patches. She appears to be a Persian mix, and her beautiful coat will need to be brushed regularly by her new owner.

She has a terrific personality, She is super friendly once she is comfortable in a new environment. Her current owner says Fiona couldn’t be more loving and is truly a sweet cat.

Of course, Fiona has been spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped. (We pay for the microchip registration as part of your adoption fee.)

Her adoption fee is $100. If interested in giving this wonderful cat a truly forever home, please contact Fiona’s original foster “mom” at 404-414-1282 or dsmithcallahan@gmail.com.
