Sweet Chihuahua-Mix Ready for Adoption

This wonderful girl is not only named “Mary Grace” she is the picture of love and grace.

Mary Grace was at a kill shelter through no fault of her own. While there, the shelter staff fell in love with her because of her wonderful personality and loving ways.  

You see, although she had her own to care for, she literally took on nursing duties for two different litters of puppies who did not belong to her during her time in this tiny rural shelter.  

We do not know where Mary Grace’s babies were at the time she was abandoned, but we do know how strong her mothering instinct was and how she lovingly performed the duties and tenderness of a mother to the other sets of puppies.

The shelter knew this special lady had to be saved, somehow, so they contacted “Angels Among Us Pet Rescue” and begged them to save her. And now, she is an “angel” herself.

She looks to be a Corgi/Chihuahua mix but she could possibly have a bit of Beagle mixed in, as well.  Mary Grace is one of the sweetest rescues AAU hasever had.  She gets along with everyone- adults, kids, cats, dogs, birds, and yes… even a pig and goat! ;)  

The vets think Mary Grace is approximately 5-7 years old but she is so spunky and playful, we find that hard to believe.  

Mary Grace is house trained and crate trained. She was a bit emaciated when she came toAngels but she is beautiful now. When she was spayed, her foster slept on the floor beside her that night because of the pain, and Mary Grace loved every minute of being by her foster’s side.  

After fostering MG for only a short perid of time, the foster family loves this sweet girl very much, and they know she will be a very welcome addition to any home where there is love, children and room for her to play and snuggle.

She has endured a lot in her short life and we want to find her perfect “forever” home! Could you be her forever family? We sure hope so.  She’s a wonderful lady with such style, grace and lots of love to give!

Mary Grace is vetted, micro-chipped, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots, and immediately available for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.
