Young Lovable Dog Named 'Blue' Ready For Adoption

The year-and-a-half-old male Catahoula Leopard mix is available through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

By Beth Hale

Meet Comrade Blue, a male Catahoula Leopard mix who is approximately 18 months old and weighs around 65 pounds.  Blue is neutered, house and crate-trained, microchipped and up to date on all shots and vetting.

This precious dog was found abandoned at a local ball field with another pup.  At the time, he was only around 11 weeks old.  Angels Among Us Pet Rescue took him in, and Blue was quickly adopted. Unfortunately, poor Blue was returned to Angels after his owners divorced, and now he sits and wonders what he did wrong that caused him to lose his family.

Blue's foster mom, Shannon, lovingly assures him each day that he did nothing wrong and it wasn't his fault that he lost his home and family.  Shannon tells Blue each day that a new family will come along very soon to love him and keep him forever!

Comrade Blue is goofy and fun-loving and loves older kids and gets along well with other dogs.  He does require a "cat-free" home as he has too much fun chasing them!  Blue loves to run, play in the yard with kids and other doggies, and his favorite thing to do is go "bye-bye" in the car with his foster mom!  Blue also adores sitting beside his human, just chilling out and watching TV.

The ideal home for Blue would  be one that has a family who will give him lots of love and attention, and one that will have older kids and a furry brother or sister to play with in the backyard.  Because he loves to play so much outdoors, Blue will need a home with a fenced-in yard and a secure gate.  He is a silly, loving, goofy love bug who will make a great companion for the right owner.
