Flood Warning Issued by National Weather Service

The National Weather Service has issue a "Flood Warning" for the area including Peachtree Corners.

The warning was issued for Crooked Creek, an area that affects both Gwinnett and Fulton counties.

The NWS said that "heavy rainfall has caused significant runoff into streams and rivers will will cause flooding in some areas."

The NWS is "urging precautionary actions for those living along the river to monitor forecasts and be prepared to take necessary actions to protect life and property."

The warning was issued at 10:22 a.m. Saturday.
