The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

Monday, Dec. 2: Organizations, Businesses Rally Support For Norcross Schools at Free Public Reception Catered By White House ChefTwenty-three community organizations and businesses are teaming up to provide cradle-to-career support for Norcross public school students as part of a new initiative that will be launched at 5 p.m. Monday at Norcross High.

Tuesday, Dec. 3: Peachtree Corners City Council MeetingThe Peachtree Corners City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at City Hall. All city council meetings are open to the public. 

Thursday, Dec. 5: Norcross HS Chamber Ensemble Performing at Atlanta Bread CompanyThe ensemble will receive 20% of the sales if you mention you are with NHS at the counter when you order. 

Friday, Dec. 6: Norcross Blue Devils vs. Colquitt County Packers in Final Four TournamentThe Blue Devils defeated Lowndes last week to advance to the final four. On Friday the Packers travel to Blue Devil Stadium Friday, game time is 7:30 p.m. The winner of this game advances to the Georgia state championships.

Sunday, Dec. 8: Elf on the Shelf Storytime and Crafts - Meet Chanda, the Elf who started it all. Have your Elf book signed and hear her read for The Elf on the Shelf Storytime! There will be Elf on the Shelf crafts and fun for all.
