What's Going On Around Town

The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

1. Aug. 12 - The Downtown Development Authority meets at 11 a.m. at City Hall to review the three proposals for the 20.6-acre site across from The Forum. The public is invited to attend.

2. Aug. 12 - The Norcross High School Foundation for Excellence will hold a Board of Director's meeting at 4:30 p.m. All are invited.

3. Aug 13 - The Peachtree Corners Planning Commission meet on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Visit the city's website for a meeting agenda.

4. Aug. 13 -  The Women of Peachtree Corners is holding a luncheon at Firenze Ristorante at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $15, RSVP is required. Click here for more.

5. Aug. 14 - The new Walmart Neighborhood Market on Winters Chapel Road opens on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and marks its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m.
