What's Going On Around Town

The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

1. Peachtree Corners Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 at City Hall. Two new business items are on the agenda. Click here for more details.

2. Stroller work out class is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Pinckneyville Park. This modified boot camp for moms will give you an all over workout. Class begins at 9:30 a.m., cost, $60 for four weeks. Click here for more information.

3. Kids Closet at Winters Chapel Consignment Sale, 5105 Winters Chapel Road begins on Wednesday, Sept. 11 - 14. Click here for times and additional details.

4. Norcross High School Blue Devils play the North Gwinnett Bulldogs at home. Defending State Champ and Region 7-AAAAAA Champ Norcross faces their arch-nemesis in the first region matchup for both teams. Game time: 8 p.m.

5. On Nov. 5, Peachtree Corners voters will head to the polls to elect three city council members, make a decision on redevelopment powers and decide on whether to approve a 1-cent sale tax for the county (SPLOST).  The city is divided into three voting districts, if you're unsure which district you live in, click here for a map of city's voting districts.
