The Peachtree Corners Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five upcoming community events.
1. Downtown Development Authority Meeting, Aug. 19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at City Hall. The three RFP respondents will present their plans for the 20.6 acres across from The Forum. Click here for a meeting agenda.
2. City Council Meeting, Aug. 20, 7 p.m. at City Hall. On the agenda, the 2033 Comprehensive Plan and an agreement with Gwinnett County to use inmate labor for maintenance work. Click here for a meeting agenda.
3. Norcross High School's first game of the season, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., will be played in Blue Devil Stadium and televised on ESPN2. Click here for ticket information.
4. Qualifying week is Aug. 26-29 for anyone wishing to throw their hats into the ring for one of the City Council seats up for re-election. Click here for more details.
5. UPCCA will host Congressman Rob Woodall in a town hall setting on Monday, Aug. 26 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Click here for directions.
