This church is always looking for new ways to reach out and help the community. The Crafty Ladies annual event that raises THOUSANDS of dollars for community outreach, Vacation Bible School that is often free of charge to all that attend( membership with the church or not) the Children's Clothes Closet provides donated clothing (infants to youth) for foster families and other needy families, Regular blood drives, and partnership with Norcross Co-op. CtK is truly a blessing to our community.

We love Christ the King Church and Preschool. Our family has been members for 18 years. It has been a wonderful experience for us all.
My two daughters attended the preschool and made life long friends. The teachers were very loving and it was a great start to their education journey.
I recommend the preschool to all my neighbors and friends.

This preschool has no consistent academic curriculum, poor quality curriculum (think really old, outdated photo copies) no events scheduled for moms or dads to come in (donuts with dad, muffins with mom, etc.), no carpool (leaving you to dodge cars with small children in tow every morning), and, sadly, very little emphasis on Christian faith (if that's important to you). There is SO much better out there. For parents who think they are happy there - I would suggest they have no idea how much better is out there. Shop around! While it may have been a good school in years past, it is considered "bottom of the barrel" now.

A congregation that generously gives to and back to the community, serving others while growing in their faith and faith family. An incredible Pre-School that my grandchildren would attend if living here, a great children and youth ministries, fabulous adult ministries, ESL classes, Team CtK Disaster relief team, many and varied services & classes, Music, Bells, and more and more. The Craft Group has donated over $350,000 to local charities making everything themselves..................very unusual today, voluteers at Norcross Coop, Family Promise, Meals on Wheels, and more. We cannot say enough about CtK, it's family, Pastors and Staff. God has blessed us as They are they for us all and will be for you too.

Limari, Limari, what part of disturbed man living in the preschool do you not understand? "Compassion for the less fortunate," is no excuse for placing numbers of children in harm's way with no information given to parents. I don't recall signing a waiver that said there would be a strange man living in the preschool. If you or the church committee are so concerned then you can certainly have taken him into your own home but apparently neither you, nor they saw fit to do so. Instead they placed a raving, raging, disturbed man in a bedroom, living with our children. You and the church should have more respect for the parents who were never informed. In the meantime, care for him by getting him the psychological help he needs. What have you done for him?

My only son attended Christ the King Preschool from the time he was 18 months old to 4 years old. As my only child, I was very selective when determining which school he'd be attending. My husband and I visited every day care and day school in the area, and bar none, Christ the King was the best choice for us. The teachers are wonderful, nurturing people who've been there for a long time. I felt very comfortable leaving my child at the school knowing that he'd be well cared for. The school is a warm and safe place.

As to the negative reviewer, I believe compassion for the less fortunate is a fundamental part of the Christian faith. I base my opinions on what I can see with my two eyes and hear with my two ears not on "apparently"s or hearsay. I can attest that my child was well cared for, nurtured, and loved while he attended Christ the King. He was also taught to love unconditionally and help those in need.

This is a vibrant church that is full of wonderful people who love Christ and others! Exiting growth is currently happening in all areas of the church! With a new senior pastor childrens, youth, adult, mission, and music programs are all growing and expanding to meet the needs of our growing congregation, guest, and community! Anyone looking for a church home and a deeper connection with Christ, should definatley visit Christ the King and connect with the warm and friendly people within.

I discovered that my church committee at Christ the King had recently been housing a mentally ill and publicly enraged man for over a year in the church Sunday School / Preschool where my two kids go. I was shocked. I am so angry that the church committee would put our children at such risk. Apparently the preschool board did not know of the situation but they had to force the church committee to make him leave. I heard that the church committee was arrogant and obstructive. I have to wonder why. It should also be known that they were conducting 3 month sx offender background checks on the man. Horrifying!
