We moved to the area and were looking for a loving and safe preschool for our daughter Alex, then 3 years old. We were blessed to find Miss Lorrie and Mt. Carmel. We found a wonderful church family as well.
Alex is 14 now (I get a little teary with memories) and I know the nurturing she received at Mt. Carmel helped her become the great kid she is.

What a truly wonderful place for our precious children. I feel very blessed to have found Mt. Carmel. I really did just find it one day as I was searching for a preschool for my son. I decided to turn down Old Peachtree Rd. and just drove. I subsequently visited it several times over the course of the summer and drove around it - investigating and getting a feel for the place. Always impressed, I finally ran into a woman entering the building and inquired if she knew if anyone was available to give me and my son a tour of the preschool. She joyfully said that she was the director and would be glad to do so! We spent the next hour and a half together talking about the preschool and our children. I instantly knew that Mt. In addition to the fabulous teachers with incredible knowledge, love, and patience, Mt. Carmel has the privilege of the most fabulous Director on Earth. You'd think it was her first year, the enthusiasm, time and energy she puts into her job. And she's been there for quite some time. Leadership is critical, and Mt. Carmel has it in spades.

My youngest child went to Mt. Carmel and I can't say enough about the loving environment and the awesome teacher/student ratio. The women who work there LOVE children!

Love this Preschool. My daughter attended Mt. Carmel and is now in First Grade. The teachers were wonderful. She was well prepared to enter Kindergarten last year. The small student/teacher ratio provides an excellent learning environment. The staff are totally dedicated to their students. They provide a variety of different learning activities and field trips for the students. My daughter looked forward to going to school and we felt like part of an extended family. Thank you Mr. Carmel.

This is our 3rd year at Mt. Carmel and we have had the best experience. The teachers and the director are fabulous! They are personable and make my child feel special and confident. Every teacher in the building knows her name and speaks to her each morning as she arrives! The environment is loving and inviting! The student/teacher ratio is awesome and I know my child is getting the attention she deserves and more! We are so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful school!

My young children currently attend Mt. Carmel and I couldn't be happier! I've got a 13-year old daughter who attended a nearby high-price tag preschool years back. I've gotta say that had I known about Mt. Carmel back then, I would've switched in an instant! My son's are ages 18-months and 3-years old. The quality of this preschool surpasses my expectations! Most of the staff has been with the preschool for decades and the loving, supportive, family atmosphere makes for a pleasant experience for my boys and for me! My son's look forward to going to school and I feel good about dropping them off each day, knowing that I've got them in the best program in the area!

We spent 8 years at Mt. Carmel between my two children and could not have asked for a better experience. We love and miss Mt. Carmel... the school, Ms. Lorrie and all the teachers will always have a very special place in our hearts!

Both of my children attended Mt. Carmel Preschool from the time they were walking through Pre-K. They are now successful students at Wesleyan and were not only prepared academically but socially as well. But the most important quality I liked about Mt. Carmel was the fact that every single teacher knew my sons' names, where they lived, their family and their interests. My children were part of a preschool family where the teachers did more than simply teach their specific class; they actually took the time to get to know all of the children. Both of my boys speak often of their fond memories of the teachers and events at Mt. Carmel. We were very blessed to have found the best preschool in Gwinnett County!

My oldest son attended preschool at Mt. Carmel, and I believe they did an excellent job of providing him the educational and social foundation needed for Kindergarten. I appreciate the school's smaller size which allows for a low student/teacher ratio, the loving environment and the well rounded curriculum. My younger son is now attending Mt. Carmel in their 3 year old class and he'll be back in the fall for Pre-K. I highly recommend taking a tour!
