School Board Member Arrested After Allegedly Striking Student with SUV - Cartersville Patch A Bartow County Board of Educationrepresentative at the center of an ethics complaint was jailed Friday following an apparently unrelated incident in the parking lot of the Cartersville Walmart. Angela "Angie" Gail Cornett, 41, who serves as District 3 representative and vice chairman, is accused of striking a 17-year-old Adairsville High School student with her vehicle. Man Arrested for Shooting at Utility Workers - Cumming Patch A Gainesville man was arrested early Wednesday morning after he allegedly shot at utility workers who were near the man's home attempting to restore power due to trees that had fallen on the power lines.
