Sweet Natured Hound Ready for Adoption

Jaffe is looking for a forever home and is available through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet "Jaffe," a male Hound-mix dog who is 4 to 5 years old and weighs approximately 78 pounds. He is a tad overweight right now, but his foster is helping him slim down a bit.  The vet says ideally he should weigh about 60 pounds and he was obviously overfed by his previous owners. He is neutered, house and crate-trained, up-to-date on shots and vetting and micro chipped.  Jaffe is good with non-reactive, easygoing dogs but he's not been around felines, so we don't know how he would react - most hound mixes find them fun to chase, so probably no kitties for his home.  He adores humans and attention from them.  He is OK with kids, but does best with older ones who know not to jerk bones and toys out of his mouth.  He can get a bit "mouthy" …

Corgi-Terrier Mix Has a Heart Full of Love

Ezra loves kids and is available for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet sweet Ezra. He is a 2-4 year-old Corgi-Terrier mix who weighs around 17 pounds.  Ezra is truly 17 pounds of pure love and affection. There is nothing better in this world to him than having a child to love on him, pet him, and allow him to share lots of sweet kisses. Ezra is good with humans and other animals and enjoys everything and everyone. This dog was adopted by a couple who worked very long hours. This caused him to be kept in his crate for up to 20 hours a day. His owners didn't want him to potty in his crate, so they didn't give him much water and food. He had to sleep in soiled blankets every night for two years.   When the organization they originally got him from wouldn't take him back due to health problems, the owners …

Perfect Companion Dog Needs Home

Eli, 11 months, is loving and loyal.

Meet Eli, an 11-month old Boykin Spaniel/Irish Setter mix. Eli is a wonderful fellow who's a "teenager" in dog years and is looking for that perfect home to grow into an adult version of the handsome boy he is today. He possesses true Setter qualities: loving, loyal, devoted, smart and very willing to please - the perfect companion dog. Eli was dropped off at a vet's office late one evening by a couple who were divorcing and no longer wanted him. Through no fault of his own, Eli was abandoned, left scared and alone, with no way of knowing why his family had chosen to "divorce" him, too. He is a very loving, smart, intelligent dog who wants to be with his humans and wants to please them in everything he does. He can "sit" and will fetch and…

Dynamic Duo Looking For Forever Home

Rescued from an animal shelter, two young litter mates are ready for adoption.

Brantley and Brayden were saved from a shelter with their two sisters, Eloise and Eleanora. All four puppies went to the same foster home and the sisters were adopted quickly!   Both Brantley and Brayden are almost a year old and each weigh about 40 pounds.  The vet thinks they won’t get much larger than they are now.  They are sweet young dogs and get along very well with the foster’s two children and her own two dogs. Brantley is cute, with black and white markings on his chest and down his face.  He also has white feet.   Brantley loves to play with sticks, pine cones, and any toys.  He also loves to play tug of war and tosses his ball up in the air by himself. His favorite game is to wrestle and play chase with his brother and two …

Golden-Shepherd Mix Looking for Forever Home

Young dog named "Blake" is ready for adoption.

Meet Blake, a beautiful Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix available through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Blake is approximately 1-2 years old and is such a stunning dog when you see him in person. He has a beautiful combination of golden brown fur, with tips of dark black along the edges, and the most beautiful golden brown eyes you'd ever want to gaze into. Blake obviously was blessed with the best traits of both breeds, and it shows when you meet him. Blake is a calm boy who is so sweet, walks great on a leash, doesn't chew or destroy his toys or anything else in his foster home.  He is also house trained.  Blake isn't crate-trained, but he's shown no reason in his foster home to be crated. Blake's only issue is one of needing love …
