How Much Are Tickets to the NCAA Final Four Games?

Don't expect a hometown discount when March Madness comes to Atlanta April 6 and 8.

It's not every day the NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four comes to town. In fact, it's only happened three times before in Atlanta — 1977 (won by Marquette), 2002 (Maryland) and 2007 (Florida). Atlanta hosts the 2013 Final Four April 6 and 8 at the Georgia Dome. But if you want to see the games live, don't expect a hometown discount. According to Final4Atlanta.com, individual tickets can cost up to $7,200 for the semifinals and championship games. And a suite runs as high as $36,000. But don't let those numbers shock you out of the building. Individual-game tickets are as low as $90, as long as you're OK with the nosebleed sections in the 70,000-seat Georgia Dome. Prices range $189 to $7,200 for both days, $124 to $3,375 for the two …

Norcross Grad Could be Top 10 Pick in NBA Draft

Jeremy Lamb, who played for the Norcross High School Blue Devils, could be drafted as high as No. 8 in Thursday's NBA Draft.

By the end of Thursday, another Norcross High School basketball player will have a spot in the NBA. Jeremy Lamb, a 2010 grad and former basketball captain at Norcross High, is a slam-dunk choice in Thursday night's NBA Draft. Draft prognosticators have the 6-foot-5, 180-pound being selected as high as No. 8 overall, and virtually none of the so-called "mock drafts" has him falling out of the first round. Lamb, who played two years at UConn before declaring for the NBA Draft in April, will be the fourth recent Norcross High star to put on a NBA uniform, joining Jodie Meeks, Al-Farouq Aminu and Gani Lawal. Lamb was UConn's leading scorer as a sophomore and was a key figure in the Huskies' national championship in 2011 as a freshman. Draft …
