Newest 2011 Gwinnett School Enrollment Count Released
The after-Labor Day count shows student enrollment exceeds projections.
This week the Gwinnett County Public School system conducted its fifth enrollment count, the results show that the number of students is higher than forcasted. As of Tuesday, Sept. 6, GCPS officials reported that student enrollment after Labor Day to be 162,589, an increase of 5,630 since the district's first count on Aug. 9. The number of students is 130 over the projected enrollment which typically increases after Labor Day.
