The British Are Coming

The Atlanta British Car Fayre is Saturday in neighboring Norcross. Head over for a look at some vintage vehicles and enjoy some British eats while you're there.

The Atlanta British Car Fayre is this Saturday--and it's going to be bigger and better than it ever has been. Now in its 12th year in Historic Downtown Norcross, the car show is expected to have 250 cars and motorcycles, all dedicated to the great country of London, according to Elliott Powers with the Atlanta British Car Fayre. "It's grown every year," said Powers, adding that this year's show is expected to attract at least 7,000 people, a significant increase from last year. Aside from the cars and motorcycles, come prepared for the British eats, too. Traditional afternoon cream teas, complete with tea, scones with cream, small sandwiches and finger foods, will be served at the Masonic Lodge on South Peachtree Street from 1 p.m. to 4:30…
