Gwinnett County Police held a press conference about Wednesday's SWAT standoff in Suwanee where four Gwinnett Firefighters were held hostage.

GCPD: Gwinnett Woman Still Considered Missing

Although there have been media reports that Stacey Parker had been found, Gwinnett County Police say they are still treating her case as a missing person and she is still at risk.

Stacy Parker went missing Friday afternoon when she was last seen at the Venture Cinemas in Duluth. On Sunday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Parker was found safe. However, Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police says the woman is still missing and the Mattie's Call is still in effect. "As far as GCPD is concerned, Stacey Parker has not been located," said Smith in a release. "We still consider her a missing person and we still consider her at risk." Smith says detectives have received tips that Parker may have bee seen at a homeless shelter in Atlanta. GCPD Releases Surveillance Video of Armed Robberies

Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed 13 businesses at gun point.

Gwinnett County Police need your help in finding the man in this video. GCPD Cpl. Jake Smith says he's responsible for 13 armed robberies in Gwinnett County. Police were first called to Appliance Solutions on Buford Hwy in Doraville on November 30th, 2011. The most recent incident was at the Boost Mobile at 575 W. Pike St. in Lawrenceville on January 10th. "Typically in these armed robbery series we see escalating violence. Not all the time, but frequently we do see that. So it is a concern in this case," said Smith The suspect made off with $400 to $1,000 in almost every instance said Smith. GCPD has obtained surveillance video from the first and last video of the suspect during the robberies. The suspect is described as a light-skinned …

Gang Sweep Lands 49 Behind Bars

GCPD and ATF teamed up for the eight-month crackdown on gang members.

An eight-month investigation has led to the arrests of 49 gang members in Gwinnett County. Since February 2011, Gwinnett County Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has conducted a joint investigation of sects of the "Gangster Disciples." The street gang primarily operated out of the Bradford Gwinnett Apartments at 100 Castor Drive in Norcross. Detectives said the apartment complex was an ideal setup for the gang. Police say the gang members were able to keep lookouts and see whenever police came in and out of the complex. Gang members reportedly forced other residents at the complex to live in fear. "We had a lot of concerned citizens come to us and tell us they were afraid to call the cops," said GCPD …

ATF Spokesman Speaks About Gang Sweep

In a press conference today, GCPD and ATF announced arrests of dozens involved in gang activity.

On Monday afternoon, the Gwinnett County Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced a successful gang sweep in the county. During the eight month investigation, 49 gang members were arrested, 248 felony warrants issued, 16 burglary cases cleared and closed and more than 1500 grams of drugs seized. ATF Special Agent in Charge Scott Sweetow shared a message directed towards those thinking about committing these types of crimes. Patch is working on this story and will have more details.
