Nearly 500 invited guests attended the ribbon-ceremony for the bank's new branch in Peachtree Corners.
It was a gala evening at the grand opening of Georgia Commerce Bank Wednesday to celebrate the first branch to open in Gwinnett County. The evening included hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, music by a string quartet and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Gwinnett Chamber's Vince de Silva, State Rep. Tom Rice, Mayor Mike Mason, PCBA President Mike McLaughlin, Gwinnett Commerce Bank's Rodney Hall (president) and Mark Tipton (CEO and Chairman) were on hand for the occassion. Dan Baker, the branch's Senior Vice President was pleased with the turnout. "We're delighted to be in the Peachtree Corners community," he said.
