Greater Gwinnett Championship Draws Stellar Field, Play Begins Friday

TPC Sugarloaf is hosting the inaugural Champions Tour event, April 19-2. In the field are a list of marquee players that include Tom Watson, Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin and Curtis Strange.

After a long hiatus, professional golf is returning to Gwinnett County. The Greater Gwinnett Championship (GGC), a three-day PGA Champions Tour event, is set to play Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21 at the TPC Sugarloaf course. The Greg Norman-designed last hosted a PGA event in 2008, (The AT&T Classic, formerly the BellSouth Classic) and attracted some of the top names in golf including Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. The inaugural GGC marks the Champions Tour’s return to the Atlanta area for the first time since 2000. NHS Touchdown Club's Annual Golf Tournament Set for May

Attention Peachtree Corners golfers - and duffers: Mark your calendars for May 26 and support the Blue Devils football team. The tournament will be held at the Rivermont Country Club.

The Norcross Touchdown Club will hold its 2013 Annual Golf Tournament on May 26 at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek. Funds from the tournament will support the Blue Devils football team. The team will use the funds to purchase new equipment such as helmets, pads, uniforms and training equipment.  "As you consider entering our golf tournament this year, please keep in mind the opportunities that you are helping create for our kids," head football coach Keith Maloof wrote in a message for the golf tournament. "Because of your (tax deductible) financial support, our students/athletes have an equal chance to be the best. They have a chance to win on and off the field. Supporters Tee It Up For Fowler YMCA

Earlier this month, the Peachtree Corners YMCA participated in metro Atlanta YMCAs 2nd annual golf tournament, the largest non-profit golf event in the metro area.

The Metro Atlanta Association was hosting their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament, this event is the largest non-profit golf event in Atlanta! YMCA Holds Golf Event to Benefit Local Youth

Atlanta’s largest nonprofit golf event will be held by the YMCA of Metro Atlanta October 8 and October 9, 2012. The Robert D. Fowler Family YMCA is hosting its tournament October 8 at the Windermere Canongate Golf Course in Cumming. The event is open to all. “The Robert D. Fowler Family Y is a place for youth to enrich their spirit, mind and body,” says Mark Thornell, executive director of the Robert D. Fowler Family YMCA. “The money raised by the golf tournament goes immediately to local kids and teens. It allows youth in the area to participate in what the Y has to offer and helps those in need to receive financial assistance. Play Golf For A Good Cause

Sign up today for a golf tournament to be held April 12-14, proceeds benefit the Foster Childrens' Foundation.

  The 2nd Annual Masters of Long Drive Pro Am Golf Tournament is scheduled for April 12 - 14 this year. The event, benefitting the Foster Children’s Foundation, will be held at Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville.
