Berkeley Resident and Former Stripling Elementary Teacher Passes Away
Charon Cayne Chase, 54, died at her home on Monday, Dec. 10.
Obituary provided by Crowell Brothers Funeral Home of Peachtree Corners. Charon Caye Chase of Berkeley Lake, Georgia, passed away on December 10th at home at the age of 54. Born on July 30, 1958 in Livonia, Michigan to Marjorie and Ellsworth Chase, Charon earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1980 and went on to a career with Abbott Laboratories/Hospira before retiring at 50 years of age to start a new career in teaching. Charon attended Mercer University and received a Master's in Teaching in Spring 2011. After graduating, Charon taught 2nd grade at Stripling Elementary School, Norcross, Georgia.
